What can Hip Hop do? Feed the body and the soul.
This is an open invitation to local organizations, business owners, restaurants, and individuals to join the Better Hip Hop Bureau in a community-building activity. The purpose of the Feed the Masses Community Cook-off and Forum is to provide free, delicious food to families through a fun and friendly competition among community members. The event also serves as a forum for non-profits and other organizations to share their mission/purpose with the community and informally discuss Austin’s most pressing issues.
The Bureau has just begun planning this activity and needs as much help as possible. We appreciate any donated goods, assistance with garnering sponsors and legal requirements such as permits for distributing free food, ideal locations to possibly hold event, and gathering participant-contestants.
B.H.H.B.A. encourages Austinites at large to spread hip hop culture’s positivity and unifying spirit through activities such as the Cook-off. Let us all help those who cannot help themselves.
To get involved, please contact us through hiphopbureau.org or just send an email to hiphopbureau@gmail.com.
